Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information Dima Publishing collects through dimapub.com, our interactive reader and related services, how we use it, and the choices you have. The short version: we collect what we need to run the Services and answer you, we don’t sell your data, and you can ask us to delete it.

What we collect

  • Things you send us. When you use the contact form or join our updates list, we collect your name, email, organization (if you share it) and your message.
  • Account information. If you have an account, we store your email address and sign-in details. Passwords are handled by our authentication provider and are never visible to us.
  • Purchases. Payments are processed by Stripe. We receive confirmation of what you bought and basic billing details, but never your full card number.
  • Technical data. Like most websites, our hosting providers record standard technical information such as browser type and pages requested. To prevent spam, we store a one-way hash of the IP address used to send a contact form, not the address itself.

How we use it

  • To answer your questions and requests.
  • To provide access to the books and services you are entitled to.
  • To send updates you asked for. Every update includes a way to unsubscribe.
  • To keep the Services secure and working well.
  • To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of trusted service providers to run the Services, including Supabase (database and sign-in), Stripe (payments), Resend (email delivery), Cloudinary (images and video) and GitHub Pages and Vercel (hosting). They process data only to provide their services to us. We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.

Students and schools

When an institution provides our books to its students, we use student information only to provide the Services to that institution and its students, and we support institutions in meeting their obligations under laws such as FERPA. Our Services are intended for users 13 and older.

How long we keep it

We keep messages and account information for as long as needed to help you and run the Services, and purchase records for as long as the law requires. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.

Your choices and rights

You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your personal information, or to unsubscribe from updates, by emailinginfo@dimapub.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law, and we will honor them.

Cookies

dimapub.com does not use advertising or tracking cookies. If you sign in, your browser stores a session token so you stay signed in.

Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls and row-level database security to protect your information. No system is perfect, but we take the job seriously and will tell you promptly if something goes wrong that affects you.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date above and, for significant changes, let account holders know.
